Cracked iPhone Screen!

I'm a little depressed... I dropped my phone while getting out of my car and it fell on the asphalt parking lot. Not even thinking about it, I picked it up and made my walk to my classroom. As soon as I got to my classroom, I remembered that I had just received a new pencil sharpener! I was sooo excited, I wanted to take a picture of it with my phone. I grabbed my phone and was in the process of unlocking it when I noticed the crack.on.the.screen. I seriously could not believe it and was sooo sad. I didn't even take a picture of the famous pencil sharpener! :(
I want to show ya'll the crack and my super sad face but Photo Booth is not cooperating right now! It is small on the left corner about an inch and a half long but it makes me sooo sad! Totally ruined my day!
Anyways, the pencil sharpener I got is the X-ACTO Teacher Pro... sounds fancy and it is super fast at sharpening. It is an amazing little guy compared to the older version of this that I was using. I hope it lasts long...or at least until the end of the year! LOL

Well, I am still a little sad so I am off to work on a President's Day Mini-Unit!!! Have a splendid night and an even better Fridayyyyyyyyy!
Also, if you haven't entered my giveaway, you need to get on it!!! It closes on Sunday. Click {HERE} to go to the giveaway post!

  1. I'm so sorry about your phone!!! That would make me so sad and drive me crazy too!

And I was thinking about getting that exact pencil sharpener. I've used the same one before (I think) and it was aaaaaaaaaamazing. Maybe I'll splurge and get one!!! My little pencil sharpener is the worst thing ever.

  2. Oooh, I just got one of those pencil sharpeners after Christmas break!! I LOVE it! It is sooo quiet and it sharpens really fast. Can you tell that my last sharpener wasn't so good? I had even bought little manual sharpeners for my kids to use! :)

    1. Haha! I wasn't even sharpening pencils! I made the kiddos go through their desks and find pencils with points. They all learned how to share the pencils! Now, my "ready to write" bucket is full of sharpened pencils! YAYY!

  5. This happened to me last week! In a weird way, I hope your phone was a 4s w/ Apple Care plus...because mine was a 4 and I had to replace it for $150. :/ Also, we have the same pencil sharpener at school, and I was so sad today when I found out it was broken!! I use battery operated ones that my co-teacher my first year teaching gave me...and they still work! Who knew?!

  7. Just found your darling blog. BUMMER about the phone. I have dropped mine several times and had to hold my breath picking it up!! I just ordered another pencil sharpener last night. I had the same exact one that you were talking about and it just kept chewing up pencils. I think it's the cheap pencils that the kids are bringing in. I hope your new one lasts for awhile!! Ha, ha!!

  8. The one thing I want to warn you about with your pencil sharpener is to watch those pencils that have a plastic covering around them. That plastic can get caught inside the sharpener and clog it up. I clean mine out with a paint brush once in a while so that it doesn't get to be too big of a problem. I also don't let the kids use it. If they want a pencil sharpened, I do it for them, if it's a convenient time!
