Too Much...

Does everyone agree that planning for a sub is just soo much work?
Yesterday, I was feeling horrible {headache, body aches, and sore throat}. I couldn't wait until 3 o'clock. My school gets out at 2 but I teach After The Bell, where I have 15 kids and I pull small reading groups or review math skills so I had to stay until 3.
3 o'clock came around, I picked up Aly from pre-school and we headed straight home. I went to the bank to get a money order and it turns out that they don't give money orders there but they have cashier's checks... but it would cost me $10.00!!! Whaaaat??? No thank you! I was kinda mad that I seriously wanted to close all my accounts!!! I just walked out and drove my sick body to the nearest Fry's!
Finally, we got home and I crashed on the couch for 2 hours! I made some dinner, we ate, and watched a little T.V. and by 8:30 we were in bed!
I woke up at 5:30 this morning feeling a teensy bit better! So I went to school. I just didn't want to call out on such short notice and not have everything set up for a substitute {I don't even know if I would have gotten one on such short notice!}
Long story short, I felt horrible the entire day! I came home right after school today and took a nap, the Mr. picked up Aly from school and I got to rest.
I'm feeling a bit better but have such a horrible headache!

Anyways, I have two funnies today:
     1. While we are sitting on the carpet...
Student: "Mrs. Matadamas, your shoes are dirty. You need to wash them."
Me: "Thanks honey but I don't wash shoes!" I don't!
Student: "Ooh, I have an idea! How about Mr. Matadamas? He can wash them!"
Me: "That is a great idea!" My kids know what's up! I was cracking up!
    2. While we were walking to specials, we saw a 2nd grade teacher that's pregnant...
Same student: "I can't wait until you have a baby" while rubbing his belly HAHA
seriously?? Are they talking to the Mr. because that's what he's thinking too!! I could not stop laughing!
My kiddos are just TOO much sometimes!

We did a few groundhog activities today but I didn't take pictures because I wasn't feeling well :(

That's all for today... hopefully I will be better so I can start taking more pictures and blogging more! :)
